Seamus Buckley – Director

Seamus has been in practice since qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1977 when he formed Seamus Buckley & Co., [changed to Buckley Kiely & Co. in 1990].  Since forming the practice Seamus is committed to achieving excellence by delivering a high quality service. Having noticed on numerous ocassions that clients were not receiving good advice in relation to their investments and pensions, Seamus and John Kiely made the decision in 2007 to set up an arm of the business to provide (initially) clients with independent expert financial advice.  Since then, Seamus has been delighted to see the continued expansion of the business and is not surprised that this has moved far beyond the initial client base of the accountancy practice. John Kiely – Director

John is a partner in Buckley Kiely & Co. Chartered Accountants since 1988. John takes a very hands-on approach in the practice with the priority of ensuring that all clients receive the best possible service. Our key emphasis is on working closely with our clients, helping their businesses succeed in an increasingly competitive, dynamic and changing world.  Having realised the client need for independent financial advice, John and Seamus Buckley together founded Buckley Kiely Wealth Managment in 2007. Richard Fowler, QFA – Director

Richard was appointed to set up and manage Buckley Kiely Wealth Management at it’s initiation in 2007. Richard has several years experience in the financial services industry both in the UK and Ireland. Richard is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC) through the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK. Richard has a diverse range of experience in providing financial advice and planning for both individuals and corporate entities, including wealth management structures, investments and pensions. Paul joined Buckley Kiely Wealth Management in June 2014 with over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Paul is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) & Retirement Planning Advisor (RPA) and has diplomas in Mortgage, Pensions and Financial Trading.  Paul has a strong client network and many years of proven experience in providing financial advice & planning for clients in the areas of investments, mortgages, pensions and life assurance. Email Paul

James Kiely, FCCA, AITI – Director of Tax

James is a highly regarded tax practitioner who has been in practice for 15 years. He also lectures for the Irish Taxation Institute. James offers a comprehensive range of tax services to national and international clients, with particular emphasis on helping them to structure their businesses and financial affairs tax efficiently. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Email James

Rosemary Farrell, BALA, AITI – Tax Advisor

Having qualified with a BA in Law & Accounting and as Chartered Tax Advisor, Rosemary trained with Farrell Grant Sparks in Dublin before moving to Cork to work at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.  Rosemary joined Buckley Kiely Tax Advisory in February 2013. Rosemary specialises in personal, corporate and capital tax compliance services together with the provision of consultancy services in; the tax implications of transferring businesses to the next generation; tax residence issues for both individuals leaving and returning to Ireland; all aspects of group reorganisations and reconstructions; reviewing legal contracts and leases from a VAT perspective and negotiating with advisers on VAT clauses and wording of the legal documentation. Email Rosemary
